Centro de Información is a 501c3 non-profit organization serving the Latino community since 1972. Centro has offices in Elgin, Hanover Park and Carpentersville, Illinois. As a trusted agency in the northwestern suburbs, Centro collaborates with private and public sectors to maximize resources to provide relevant and quality social services. Centro is accredited by the Department of Justice to offer immigration and naturalization counseling and application services. In addition to immigration and naturalization services, Centro serves thousands of people each year needing translation support, advocacy, public benefits application support, English language education, emergency food pantry and more! Centro's mission is to empower Hispanics with the ability to effectively integrate into our greater community through the facilitation of information, education, citizenship and well-being.
