Central Utah Water Conservancy District encourages the efficient use of water in Utah landscapes. On average, Utah homeowners use 60% of their water to irrigate lawns and gardens. The good news is, this water use can be greatly reduced without sacrificing the beauty of the landscape. In fact, water-efficient landscapes often turn out to be more colorful, more interesting, and more diverse than traditional landscapes.
