CHER and the Arizona Biomedical Research Centre (ABRC) offer an annual series of workshops aimed at building the capacity of local, tribal, and state agencies; healthcare delivery organizations; and non-governmental organizations to engage in meaningful research related to health disparities. Selection of topics for the ABRC Education Series workshops has been driven by community input, and workshops are typically developed and co-presented with community partners who are most knowledgeable about workshop subjects. Attendance and engagement have been high, and have led to numerous ongoing partnerships and further research.
