Louth branch of CATU: Community Action Tenants Union. CATU is an island-wide, member-led union for private tenants, council tenants, mortgage holders, people in direct provision and emergency accommodation and anyone not profiting from the housing crisis.We believe nobody should be evicted from their home just so a landlord or developer can increase their profits. We believe that housing is a human right and in safe, secure homes for all.Thousands of members are organised in branches all across the island of Ireland from Kerry to Derry.
