Carova Beach is a unique four-wheel-drive-only oceanfront community on the northern end of North Carolina’s Outer Banks. Carova Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue services the 12-mile stretch of unimproved roads from the North Beach access at the end of the pavement in Corolla to the NC/VA line. Carova Beach Volunteer Fire and Rescue is a 100% volunteer-run organization. Our members donate their time to train and respond to fire and rescue calls in our service district. The Auxiliary raises money in support of the fire and rescue organization through various events throughout the year, in addition to accepting private donations.
