Carl Meadows is a Registered Nurse (RN) and Administrator of Penticton Regional, Summerland and South Okanagan General Hospital. As a child who never “fit in”, and did not graduate from grade 12 due to bullying; his stage was set to carve an unapologetic path to self-worth, humility and being true to self. As a pioneer he co-founded the national organization Foundation of Hope supporting LGBT+ refugees and established an annual charity event called The Fall G ala which raises over 50 Thousand dollars annually for Out in Schools . He lives in Penticton with his husband Les, and their dog Ted.
