In August 2011 Barry College and Coleg Glan Hafren, two established and successful Further Education (FE) colleges merged to create Cardiff and Vale College / Coleg Caerdydd a’r Fro, one of the largest and most exciting colleges in the country.The merger is part of an innovative vision, set out by the Welsh Government, to transform post-16 education and training in the Capital Region of Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
