We are a group of residents of Burford, Carterton and surrounding villages, formed in 2021.We are looking for ways to fight the climate and nature crisis, build local resilience, and support our fellow creatures, human or otherwise.We meet regularly to talk about what we can do to improve the environment, and topics include promoting wildlife, reducing energy and the demand for water, the health of our rivers and the impact of food production on our environment. We plant trees and help maintain a community allotment. Our members also get involved in activities such as litter picking, tree planting, the community allotment, repair cafes and events such as organising talks about topics such as wildlife, composting and energy saving measures.
