Brooker Elementary School PTA

As your 2019-2020 Parent Teacher Association (PTA) President, I want to welcome both our returning and new families to Brooker Elementary School. The purpose of the PTA is to support the faculty, staff, families, and most importantly, the students of Brooker. We encourage you to show your support by joining the Brooker PTA. You can also help by contributing your time, knowledge, and resources, which all make a difference at our school. Ever wonder what the PTA does for the school? We sponsor educational & outreach programs, fund investments in technology & equipment, provide grants for our teachers’ classrooms, coordinate appreciation events for our teachers, organize fundraisers and plan fun events. The Brooker PTA’ s most important role is to enhance the learning experience and environment for our students. The support and involvement of the families of our students, the faculty, and the staff all play an integral role in achieving our school PTA goals. Getting involved in the PTA is easy! There are so many ways to volunteer, and we appreciate any amount of time or resources you can provide. Are you a great planner? Creative? Good with numbers? Or maybe you like to work behind the scenes on your own time? Supporting the PTA looks different for all of us. Do you work 9-5, or maybe the morning shift, or night shift? Do you work from home, or are you working as a stay-at-home parent or guardian? There are opportunities for all of those schedules. Maybe you volunteer with other organizations, and maybe you run your kids around to a variety of extracurricular activities. We understand, so do we. There are ways to volunteer for any level of commitment! We look forward to bringing you programs and events throughout the upcoming year!
