The organisation owes its roots to the First World War but it grew at the end of WWlI, with Winston Churchill being a patron. Now it welcomes all serving and past members of the armed forces of 5i countries and diplomats from those countries as well. The organisation stands by to help any one in need and it regularly holds social events be they pop dinners from time to time or the regular King’s Official Birthday Garden Party in June or the Trafalgar Night Dinner in October.
