Ian Brewer is the Financial Inclusion Development Officer for the Bradford District Credit Union with over 25 years in community development and training (including India and South Africa) as many years banking experience at HSBC. Ian is a founding member of the 'Anti-Poverty Events Group and provides Credit Union financial training in the community and to businesses. With over 7500 members, we are a community that help people to 'get into the savings habit' by saving together in an ethical way for mutual benefit as there's no profit for third-party shareholders. They are also 'Faith Friendly' as they do not pay interest on savings but a profit sharing 'dividend' that is ethical for Muslim savers.
