Follow Bobette Brown, Founder, The Lady Chapter_ The mission of The Lady Chapter organization is to provide mentorship to young ladies of distinction (ages 24-37, primarily), empowering them to live above societal norms, and to reflect the glory of Jesus Christ. Bobette Brown, drawing from her experience as a young woman battling with low self-esteem, unhealthy relationships, feelings of insecurity and depression, chose to release the dark areas in her life and discover her place of purpose. Through her transformation, for more than 25 years, Bobette has mentored, coached, and empowered countless young ladies to pursue their God-given purpose and thrive as authentic and uniquely created individuals. Also, for many years she (and her husband, Dr. T. Cedric Brown) opened her home as a safe-haven and gathering place for numerous women as they transitioned, evolved, and transformed. Bobette Brown is the CEO of BGB Enterprises, a former U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Paratrooper, an international speaker, best-selling author, ICF certified coach, and professional overcomer. She is an Executive Director on The John Maxwell Team and a leadership & personal growth consultant who teaches individuals and teams how to optimize efficiencies, leverage experiences, live authentically and become the people they were created to be. The six areas, which encompass her passion and platform, are represented by the word LEAPER: leadership, empowerment, authenticity, purpose, equipping and relationships. She holds a BA degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland University College and an MA degree in Theological Studies from Wesley Seminary. She is a certified Relationship and Human Behavior Consultant, Certified ICF Personal and Executive Coach, and a Work-Life Certified Professional.
