Bo writes music from a deep place, hoping to connect with that deep place in others. He grew up in Durango, Colorado, and found spiritual connection by going on adventures in the mountains and grasslands, and farmland (yes, trespassing!) with his golden retriever, Kaya.Later in life, Bo got a degree in geography and anthropology because he was also fascinated in both the planet and all its people. Bo loves traveling and going on adventures to meet new people and see what emerges. His hope with his music is to tell stories that make a lasting impression on people. Stories of the wilderness, of loss, and of life's regularly ridiculous moments.Bo loves fingerstyle guitar, open tunings, folk covers, and lyrics with an impact. In 10 years on Bandcamp, Bo has released 5 albums and played over 50 shows. His first albums, Creative Conduits and Aural Aerials, both celebrate alliteration and Bo's journey into sobriety.During this time, Bo also wrote a novel called Culture Clock, which is expected to be published soon. The novel explores the idea that everyone in the world becomes a coder with all their material needs met. But long gone are traditions, different languages, toys, and family get togethers. The story's protagonist is called on by a demigod to build and sell antique dollhouses to solve the problem. His daughter, a tech CEO, is called to grow new human cultures from scratch. In the past 10 years, Bo also worked as a public school teacher. In the past two years, he started teaching music lessons privately and then started a non-profit bringing music to at-risk youth groups in Bellingham, WA. He has been so pumped to join the Bellingham writing community, music community, and music teachers community.
