Blossoming Flowers-Chicago

Blossoming Flowers is an initiative for children which launched in the illuminated month of Rabi ul Awal 1438 ~ December 2016, under the guidance of Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi. Our inaugural event The Children’s Mawlid was a huge success and to date we have brought joy to thousands of children across many cities through our Mawlids and Eid Parties. The events have been well received by Muslim children and their parents, owing to the unique style in which it brought together learning and fun in celebrating the Prophet’s birth (peace be upon him).Vision and Mission StatementIn the words of Shaykh Muhammad, the vision of Blossoming Flowers is “To allow children across the world to truly experience the beauty of Islam and benefit from the wonderful example of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through delivering inspirational and engaging events. Our mission is to transform the lives of children worldwide, by bringing Blossoming Flowers events to cities across the world.”ObjectivesThe main objective of the project is to engage through children, whole communities and help indirectly promote tasawwuf as mainstream Islam. The objectives for the events can be defined as follows:1. To help our children love the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم2. To teach children, through fun activities, about the life and miracles of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم3. To allow children to collectively sing praises of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم4. To provide children with the basic elements of success in their life and studies5. To improve our children’s manners based on the beautiful character of the Prophetصلى الله عليه وسلم
