Follow Blaise & HeatherOur Tai Chi classes are 1 hour long in an easily accessible event space. All levels of Tai Chi experience are welcome. Blaise has been teaching Tai Chi for over 15 years. He will add in some Qi Gong warm ups to ensure you are ready to learn all 108 movements of Tai Chi.Tai Chi is a gentle Chinese martial art that blends slow flowing movements and mindful focus to improve balance, flexibility, and inner calm. From a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) perspective, it helps cultivate and circulate Qi (vital energy), supporting the health of the organs, improving digestion, circulation, and lung capacity, and calming the mind and nervous system. Regular practice can reduce stress, ease joint pain, enhance immunity, and promote overall vitality and longevity.Our Sound Healing events are held monthly. A Sound Journey is typically offered in the evening and is about 1.5 hours.Blaise has been a musician for over 20 years. He plays the Australian didgeridoo, the West African djembe, Indigenous framed drum, the hand pan, guitar and Tibetan tingsha. Heather brings the feminine approach playing the Himalayan singing bowls handmade with gold on the full moon, the majestic white quartz bowls, the double barrel flute while weaving in meditative prompts, gentle slow breaths and songs for the heart. Our sound journeys have something for everyone.
