The Black Space Summit & Symposium is a conference curated to amplify and promote the African Descent Community, heritage, and culture. This summit will focus on highlighting the depth and diversity of the African Descent community while encouraging the development of practical solutions to pervasive systemic inequities experienced by those living in the margins. We invite you to celebrate the art, culture and heritage of African Descent people and community. The Summit will consist of various in person events and virtual offerings including multiple panel discussions, social gatherings, workshops and artist performances throughout the Greater Vancouver area. The Black Space Summit & Symposium unites artists, educators, and professionals within the diaspora to explore critical themes and realities related to the African Descent community.
