Follow Black Professionals In Tech Network (BPTN)This experience was very unfulfilling and disheartening. Majority of the people that attended the event including myself did not get in because of NDAs that Block neglected to send to us during email correspondence. I specifically registered for the event and received a welcome and reminder email from the event. Squareup.com was supposed to send an NDA that they never sent which left me unable to enter the Block, Inc. presentation. They did not have any kind of Plan B or contingency plan to admit all of the people that showed up to enter the presentation. We were sent home with a small plate of food (if you decided to accept) and a parking validation. It was not what I was expecting and a drastic waste of time, energy and gas.. The email correspondence and communication ball was dropped by Block or OBSIDI. Either way they worked together and can take full blame together. Therefore, I was highly disappointed in my overall experience.
