The Black Mountain Nordic Club Inc. was formed as a 501(c)(4) in November 2001 to promote the sport of cross-country skiing while providing consistent trail grooming for the Sibley Lake and Cutler Hill ski trails, in conjunction with the U.S. Forest Service, and to provide activities for club members. Funding is obtained from membership dues, donations and grants. The Sibley Lake (no dogs allowed) and Cutler Hill (dogs welcome) trails are located 26 miles (Sibley) and 24.7 miles (Cutler) west on US hwy 14 from exit 9 on Interstate 90, in the Big Horn Mountains west of Sheridan, Wyoming.
