Beth Am, The People's Temple

We are a socially, politically, and religiously progressive REFORM congregation in Washington Heights and Inwood and have been a pioneering voice in the Jewish world since 1950. We are LGBTQI and straight folks spanning three generations, practicing a Judaism that's both outside and inside the box. This year marks the second anniversary of Beth Am’s collaboration with Hebrew Tabernacle, sharing the responsibility of providing religious services for the Reform Jewish community of Northern Manhattan. Members of both congregations are welcome at all services, and we hope that this collaboration will make us a stronger and more vibrant community, even as we continue to maintain our separate and unique identities.
