Best Buddies in Virginia & DC is a nonprofit organization founded by Anthony Kennedy Shriver dedicated to ending the physical, social, and economic isolation of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Through its One-to-One Friendship, Integrated Employment, Leadership Development, and Inclusive Living programs, Best Buddies creates opportunities for people with and without IDD to form meaningful connections and build more inclusive communities across Virginia and Washington, D.C.
