While I enjoyed the day with my family, there was very little “strawberry” in this Strawberry Festival. It was mostly vendors, crafts that had nothing to do with strawberries, and state fair truck food (only one of which that used strawberries in their products). It was a disappointment to us as we expected the theme to be more present. Also, there seemed to be no one around the venue to help with information and directions to certain things, let alone security (unless they were undercover!), and bathrooms were hard to find. It would be fun to have a full-fledged strawberry festival next time, with a minimal amount of other things thrown in.
