Established in 1989, Black Child Development Institute (BCDI)-Sacramento coordinates community programs and initiatives, throughout the city of Sacramento and surrounding areas. Through partnerships with local agencies and initiatives, we are focused on 3 key areas: early care and education, literacy, and health and wellbeing.Our mission is to improve and advance the quality of life for Black children and families in Sacramento and the surrounding communities, through education, advocacy, and partnerships.
