    Bay Area Pug Project is a 501(c)(c) nonprofit based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Focused on the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of pugs in the region, BAPP was born from a shared love of pugs and a desire to build a strong, informed community around the breed. BAPP believes that true rescue goes beyond saving dogs—it means educating the public, advocating for responsible ownership, and collaborating with other groups for maximum impact.
