Follow Ballina Fringe FestivalBallina Fringe Festival returns from 9th – 18th October 2020 Sprung from one of Ireland’s best known and longest established summer festivals, Ballina Salmon Festival, Ballina Fringe Festival is another fish entirely – an artistic exploration of life lived on the edge of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way served up in a festival of words, art and music. The festival returns – to the outdoors, online and in intimate settings – from 9th – 18th October 2020, in association with the Ice House Hotel & Spa. All 2020 events and tours , both paid and free events, will be ticketed to manage audience numbers. Join us as we dip and weave our way though exceptional art, musical entertainment, historical discoveries, tales well told and lyrical words that dance through poetry. Pure Ballina – Ballina Fringe Festival’s community street art project Pure Ballina also returns to bring our community and world-leading street artists to the streets of Ballina – in collaboration with Foroige’s Neighbourhood Youth Project and Beelieve in Ballina, partnering with Ballina’s Men’s Shed and funded by Creative Ireland, Dulux and Topline Archers Ballina. Ballina Fringe Festival is developed in partnership with Ballina Arts Centre and Mayo North.Covid-19 restrictionsWe understand that due to the changing nature of public health advice, there may be a very small chance that we may not be able to run some festival events as planned or indeed at all.
