About Balanced You

Sarah is the face behind Balanced You and is a dedicated Yoga Teacher and Yoga Therapist who is passionate about guiding others on their journey towards physical and mental health, and spiritual well-being. She teaches a gentle style of yoga that focuses on combining the breath with movement and meditation to cultivate self-awareness and balance in the body.It was during her many years working in the busy corporate world and her own health struggles that Sarah found the benefits of yoga. Motivated by the positive impact yoga had on her life, she decided to deepen her knowledge in yoga, yoga therapy, meditation, yoga relaxation, mental health, and women’s health, and share her learnings with others.Having trained in the Krishnamacharya lineage at Yogic Wisdom, Sarah is a firm believer of meeting you where you are at and suiting yoga to the individual. In Sarah’s classes, you can expect a balanced blend of gentle movement, breathwork, meditation and deep relaxation. She provides modifications to suit the individual needs of her students and utilises props to support those in her classes.Sarah welcomes you with open arms and cultivates a sense of community in her classes. Her aim is to have you leaving the class floating on air and taking the tools of yoga back into your daily life.Qualifications: 350-hour diploma in Yoga Teacher Training, 650-hour post graduate training in Yoga Therapy, and Diploma of Counselling.
