About ASYA DIMITROVA

Hello there! My name is Asya and I'm a researcher at King's College London specialising in the neuroscience of autism, I'm a parent myself, and I have a deep, personal connection to the autistic experience. My special interest is deconstructing complex human systems - from organisational dynamics to the autistic neurotype - to create novel, high-impact frameworks for growth and understanding. My work is currently focused on scientifically validating the "Atypical Allostasis" model of autism, bridging the gap between lived experience, clinical observation, and cutting-edge neuroscience, which reframes autism as a different, high-cost, high-performance human operating system.A glimpse of my work:More than 10 years working with Autism and neurodivergence.I have developed a proprietary systemic model for understanding and supporting autistic individuals, successfully applied to some of the most challenging cases in clinical and home environments.Authored the book "Talent Autism: A Mind from the Future in a Body of Today," codifying my unique methodology.Selected as a keynote speaker and presenter at major international platforms, disseminating my framework to a global audience of professionals and parents.- The Autism Show (London-Birmingham-Manchester, 2017 & 2018)- 12th Autism-Europe International Congress (Nice, France, 2019)Designed and delivered a suite of training programmes for parents and professionals, translating complex theory into practical, effective, real-world strategies.
