When cancer touched me personally, by affecting both of my parents, I wanted to do something not just for them but for the wider community . Being a part of the treatment program and seeing first hand the awesome work that is done buy those who are caring for our loved ones with cancer and just how dedicated they are I knew I wanted to do something to help them. But what could I do......after some time I come to realise that I can help by fundraising to support these organisations but then the next hurdle, But what can I do.....I can craft and I know so many wonderful people out there who craft and who would be, like me, wanting to support where we can. And so Arty Crafty for Cancer was born in 2016. Our first craft day was a huge amount of fun, laughter and a wonderful fundraising total. 2017 is going to be even better.
