ArtZone is the non-profit Arts Council for the Sun Peaks region. ArtZone’s goal is to promote and support the arts, by providing visual arts workshops/seminars, children’s art events, studio space for members to work on their individual artistic projects, and a gallery to exhibit artwork. The purpose of ArtZone’s workshops and programs is to expose Sun Peaks’ residents and visitors to Arts & Cultural events within the community, and provide a creative environment for artistic endeavours. Lorel Sternig, local artist and resident, founded Art Zone and encouraged the development and growth of a non-profit art society in Sun Peaks.
