The Armed Forces Hong Kong Association is a staff network of the Ministry of Defence (MOD) aiming to support Service Personnel and Civil Servants with Hong Kong background. It is set up as a Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) initiative and guided by the Defence Diversity and Inclusion Strategy (2018 - 2030). Our aims are: CONNECT service personnel and civil service employees with connection to Hong Kong. Helps individuals to integrate and develop a sense of belonging in a better and more effective organisation. ENGAGE communities to promote Hongkonger’s continued contribution to UK Defence. Preserve and promote valuable military heritage. INSPIRE communities by bringing out Defence values and message. Assist with military recruitment by setting out the MOD as a diverse employer. ADVISE the Chain of Command on the community’s lived experience.
