The Appalachian Bowmen are a group of people that get together to enjoy and promote the fine sport of archery to young and old alike. We hold several events through out the year for traditional and compound shooters as well as kids. In April we have a traditional 3D Shoot with three different 3D target ranges, practice area, kids practice area, novelty shoot with running deer, and our UFO flying target area. We even supply the Flu Flu Arrows for the aerial targets. The event runs for three days, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with camping allowed starting Friday. In August our 3D shoot is open to all types of archery including Cross Bows. The setup is similar to our Traditional Shoot, but only Saturday and Sunday. Camping is not allowed at the August Shoot. Kids Nights are held every third Tuesday of each month, during the school year. Kids are welcome and shoot for free from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM.
