Alexandra Ghimisi is a professional artist and tutor with decades of experience in painting and art education. Passionate about expressive, contemporary landscapes, she encourages students to explore creativity through colour, texture, and emotion. Alexandra regularly hosts hands-on workshops and in-person painting courses focused on building confidence, developing personal style, and finding joy in the creative process. Her mission is to inspire others to see the world through an artist’s eye—boldly, freely, and with curiosity.Alexandra Ghimisi is a Romanian-born contemporary painter based in the UK. A graduate of the National University of Arts Bucharest with a BA in Decorative Arts, she is a member of the National Acrylic Painters' Association, the Visual Artists Association, and a Fellow of the Nottingham Society of Artists. In 2024, she won the Holbrooke Art Prize, exhibited at the London Art Biennale and Mall Galleries, and was selected as a 2026 Sky Landscape Artist of the Year Wild Card. Her artwork is featured in collections across Europe.
