The Alberta Media Production Industries Association (AMPIA) is a non-profit professional association serving the media production community in Alberta. Incorporated in 1973, AMPIA is the first such association in Canada. This year marks the 43rd anniversary of the organization and this milestone will be celebrated throughout the year. Our mandate is to support and promote the growth of media production activities within Alberta. The organization also strives to foster an environment in which Albertans can create content reflecting our point of view to Albertans, to the rest of Canada and to the world, and to support and promote the media industry as a viable economic and cultural force within Alberta.
