Above all else AboveTheBridge is a community for artists; for individuals who seek solace in the sound. We are a media company, an events company, a comic book company, and artist development company all existing through a strict community driven lens. Through our six years of spending countless hours with musicians, interviewing artists in basements, attics, public parks, vintage stores, and on bridges (all of these really happened), and telling their stories, we have been lucky enough to learn a thing or two about how difficult it is to be a musician in today's climate. Frustrations, struggle, and stories of artists being taken advantage of, are why we do what we do. We will never take those stories for granted. AboveTheBridge is fueled by the inspiration we find from the chronically online kid in her basement somewhere, recording onto a USB mic, screaming her lungs out on every take. That is what matters to us. We want to find those kids. Make Music Matter.
