大未來林舍畫廊的前身，為創立於1992年的大未來畫廊。負責人林天民先生1980年代便開始投入藝術市場，多年代理西方美術名家作品的累積，與對華人當代藝術的使命感，讓大未來林舍畫廊有信心能為藏家提供專業精準的藝術典藏建議。 過去，大未來畫廊從發掘推廣常玉、朱沅芷、陳蔭羆、趙無極，乃至中國早期名家林風眠、吳大羽、關良等藝術家的作品，大未來在強烈的文化使命感驅使之下，企圖填補、梳理出二十世紀早期華人美術史完整而多元的系譜。以此為職志，十幾年來默默耕耘，期許這些藝術家能得到他們應有的美術史位置，讓二十世紀的華人美術史得以呈現出更為多元而完整的面貌。這些努力已獲得各界的肯定，所經營的藝術家作品，多為海內外各大國立美術館、藝術基金會與收藏家列為重點收藏。 現在，大未來林舍畫廊以為華人藝術扎根的使命感，持續發掘具有潛力的年輕華人藝術家。二十餘年的經營歷練，畫廊以品牌專業化的經營為營運宗旨，並強化中堅主流藝術家的合作陣容，包括蕭勤、王懷慶、許江、陸先銘、陳界仁、郭維國、劉煒、洪東祿、劉時棟、賴九岑、黃嘉寧與邱建仁。除此之外，培養藏家與畫廊間的品味認同，更是畫廊永續經營的底蘊。 面對金融海嘯重新整合的藝術市場，大未來林舍畫廊秉持著「延續過去成就，創造明日經典」的信念，培植本土新生代藝術家向國際舞台進軍，推動華人市場的國際交流經驗，達到肯定本土、華人，胸懷國際的宏觀理想。 The predecessor of Lin & Lin Gallery is Lin & Keng Gallery, which is established in 1992. As the founder and representative, Tim Lin has been engaged in the art market since the 1980s. The gallery's accumulated experience representing western modern artists and its sense of cultural mission to the Chinese contemporary art community qualify Lin & Lin Gallery to provide accurate and helpful advice regarding art investment to collectors. Lin & Keng Gallery started by representing overseas Chinese artists such as San Yu, Yun Gee, George Chann and Zao Wou-Ki, and then returned to modern Chinese masters such as Lin Fengmian, Wu Da-Yu, Guan Liang and other artists. Driven by a strong sense of cultural mission, Lin & Keng Gallery has constructed a complete and diverse pedigree of early modern Chinese art of the 20th Century. Based on this core concept, the gallery has striven over the past ten years to give artists the status and position they deserve in the art historical context. These efforts have also contributed to a multi-dimensional and comprehensive representation of Chinese art history in the 20th century. Furthermore, works of many artists represented by the gallery have been collected by national museums, art foundations and collectors around the world, serving as a tacit endorsement of the gallery's efforts. Lin & Lin Gallery continues to hold firm to its sense of cultural mission by seeking out young and promising Chinese artists. Years of experience managing an art business have lent to our significant understanding of the important role art galleries play in the larger art world context.
