Младежко сдружение за мир и развитие на Балканите (МСМРБ) е младежка неправителствена организация, чиято цел е да провежда младежка политика, с която да утвърди ролята на младите хора в процесите, свързани с развитието на демокрацията в страните от Балканския полуостров и по този начин да гарантира стабилността на обществата и мира. Основни дейности са обмени, форуми и конференции, обмен на информация, образователни инициативи, обучителни семинари, издаване и разпространение на материали, подпомагане и организиране на промоционални и лоби кампании, развитие на проектната политика на неправителствените организации, развитие на мрежи, дейности, свързани с провеждане на местна, национална и европейска младежка политика. Членове на организацията са млади хора от цялата страна. От 2003г. сдружението е пълноправен член на Европейско бюро за добросъвестни възражения (European Bureau for Conscientious Objection), от 2010г. член на Национален младежки форум.От 2009 година МСМРБ е част от консорциума ПроПагер, който осъществява реализацията, в страните-членки на ЕС, на кампании на различни дирекции на Европейската комисия, вкл. ГД Образование и кутура, ГД Правосъдие, ГД Транспорт, както и на Европейския парламент. В периода 2004-2010г. (до създаването на Национален младежки форум) МСМРБ е основен партньор на Европейски младежки форум в осъществяването на контакт с младежкото движение в страната и проучване на ситуацията, свързана с младите хора в България. The Youth Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans (YSPDB) was created in 1998 as an informal alliance of NGO leaders. In the middle of 2001 was officially registered as a non-governmental organization according to Bulgarian legislature. Its members are students, young people and citizens who work for: • Strengthening the stability on the Balkans and South East Europe; • Encouraging and promoting of the creative process in arts and sciences; • Encouraging and promoting the Bulgaria Cultural Heritage; • Creation of new practices of sustainable development; • Establishing of new models in the area of secondary, higher and civil education; • Improving the intercultural dialogue and overcoming of ethnic differences; • Respecting the human rights; • Improving the dialogue between NGOs and local and national authorities. The means for achieving the above stated aims are: exchanges, forums and conferences, information exchange, voluntary service, education initiatives, endowment campaigns, educational seminars, publication and dissemination of materials, assistance and organization of campaigns, development of project policy of NGOs, urging for new legal initiatives needed by the society, creation and support of civil clubs and initiatives for cultural heritage preservation. Youth Society for peace and development of the Balkans is a youth non-government organization, with main purpose to conduct youth policies, to establish the role of the young people in the process related with the development of the democratic processes in the countries from the Balkans and for that matter to guarantee the stability of the society. YSPDB has been in great number of international exchanges for young people, developing their skill for self-realization and including in social life. Through the years, the organization has developed projects and initiatives for improving the capacity of young people. In the main priorities of YSPDB are including young people in the decision-making process on both local and international level, as well as initiatives for public awareness regarding the problems of the young people. For two years Youth Society for Peace and Development of the Balkans has managed Youth Information-consultative centre where implemented training courses among young people for employability, writing projects, empowerment etc. Since 2008 YSPDB contribute with annual National Debate in Varna which despite everything else aims to improve youth participation in the decision – making process, as well as public awareness on youth problems in Bulgaria and Europe. The Debate is up to date an annual event with more than 150 representatives from youth NGOs and decision makers from relevant ministries and agencies in Bulgaria. European youth forum are also our guest youth experts on the event. The organization is member of National Youth Forum. As active young people, the representatives of YSPDB have been involved in developing and implementation of different political documents and participation in working groups of ministries and other governmental bodies. YSPDB is a member and co-founder of Plovdiv Youth Municipality Council. Since 2009 the Society is a member of ProPager – organization specialized in organizing events and conferences as well as Europe wide institutional promotion activities.
