Red Dot Pistol

Come learn how to shoot your RDS effectively. Manage recoil & learn how to find the dot

This Half Day (4 hours) class is a great introduction to the red dot pistol and how to shoot it.

You will need a holster and carry setup.

Class Goals:
Learn to pick up the dot
Track the dot through recoil
Destroy common myths and misconceptions: parallax, shooting the dot up close (gross sight picture), occluded optic, use of BUIS

How stance and grip work together to help with recoil management and dot tracking

Zero’ing the dot

Drawing from concealment or open rig

Finding the dot from the draw/ presentation

Gross sight picture

What is parallax?

What happens if your front lens gets occluded (covered)

Use of backup iron sights
