Battle for Battleson

On July 28th, 12 year old Matthew was rushed to the Oishei Children’s Hospital with a sudden seizure after a weekend of having a fever. The unexplained seizures continued, and on August 5th he was flown to Boston Children’s Hospital, where he is currently in an induced sedation.

Doctors have been unable to determine the exact cause, but he has been diagnosed with NORSE FIRES — a rare and severe neurological condition.

Matthew’s parents Matt and Julie are now in Boston by his side and have been unable to work.

As bills continue to pile up, friends, family, and our community are coming together to help.
