A provocative romantic comedy set in 1980-Something
Pam’s life is turned upside down when her husband of four years leaves her a note - telling her he’s left her for another woman. Leaning on her best friend Lizzy, Pam tries to make sense of what comes next.
Then she gets an unexpected call from Jake - a potato farmer and the other woman’s husband. Just as bewildered and newly arrived in town, Jake has no Lizzy to lean on. Reluctantly, Pam agrees to meet him.
As their stories unfold, they discover common ground in their shared experience. Full of wit, warmth, and humour, Common Ground is a heartwarming comedy about love - both lost and found.
