It should come as no surprise that parent-child conflict is so common in today's world that it has become cliché. If parents aren't in a state of perpetual anger or anxiety, the family is considered an enigma.
But why should strife seem normal while peace appears strange? Perhaps it's due to the fact that family peace is so hard to attain. This should cause us to ask whether it's even possible to reduce the level of strife in our homes, or-better yet-remove the strife for good.
Thankfully, God didn't leave us to live in continuous strife. His perfect Word provides all the guidance and direction our families need for a life of godliness and strifelessness. To begin moving toward strife-lessness in our families, we will wade into the book of Proverbs and study three New Testament epistles to discover the Creators, Consequences, and Causes of strife, and then uncover the Cures.

One Sunday evening.
