This is a three-session class meeting from 5:30 to 7:00 PM on each of the following dates
October 23, 30, and November 6.
This workshop teaches drawing through replicable processes used by some of today’s most celebrated artists in the creation of character portraits and compositions. We break down each phase into workable fundamentals—form, gesture, stylization, and composition—so students can build from the inside out. The goal is not just to draw better, but to understand what makes a drawing work, both emotionally and structurally.
This course is designed for teens and adults (ages 16+) who want a strong foundation in character drawing and visual storytelling. We don’t gatekeep. We teach real tools—with obsessive clarity and intention.
Whether you “can’t even draw a stick figure” or you’re stuck making work that doesn’t satisfy you, this workshop offers an optimized skill set to draw on—literally and metaphorically. You’ll leave with a process you can trust, a visual language you can build on, and the confidence to create with purpose.
