Come learn how to prepare your digital files for laser cutters, vinyl cutters, or any type of flat 2D CNC. This will cover everything needed to have a cut ready file. We will be using Inkscape to manipulate our digital files and export them into cut-able formats. Inkscape is free software, and can be downloaded at

We will go over common concepts such as vector and raster graphics, and how to prepare to cut or etch each.
This is a design class. If you are looking to cut on a specific machine look for our machine training classes coming soon.
This is a bring your own laptop class, though laptops can be provided. Pre-install Inkscape and you'll be set for class.
