This educational workshop focuses on meal planning and meal prepping through a plant-based and plant-centric approach to nutrition, designed to support energy, digestion, and overall wellness.
During this workshop, we will explore how to build nourishing, satisfying meals by understanding flavor balance, protein needs, fiber intake, and nutrient-dense foods. Participants will learn how to plan and prepare meals that are both enjoyable and sustainable, while supporting the body’s natural systems.
What We’ll Be Teaching
The benefits of plant-based and plant-centric nutrition
How plant foods support gut health, the gut-brain connection, and longevity
Eating the rainbow to increase nutrient diversity and peak nutrition
Understanding protein quality and quantity in a plant-based diet
Complete and complementary plant proteins
Protein needs ranging from 0.8–1.8 g per kg of body weight, depending on individual needs
The importance of fiber for digestion, metabolism, and satiety
How to build balanced meals using nutrient-dense, whole foods
Flavor foundations—sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami—and how flavor improves satisfaction
Simple plant-based substitutions for dairy, eggs, and traditional proteins
How to transition into plant-centric eating with patience, confidence, and flexibility
Finding your “why” to support consistency and enjoyment
Making meal planning and prepping feel supportive, creative, and fun
Meal Planning & Prepping in Practice
Participants will learn practical strategies for:
Planning meals ahead to reduce stress and decision fatigue
Prepping full meals or preparing ingredients for mix-and-match meals
Creating simple breakfast, lunch, and dinner options
Batch cooking grains, beans, soups, and bases
Using smoothies, bowls, and flexible recipes to save time
This workshop emphasizes education, empowerment, and real-life application, helping participants develop a positive relationship with food while building habits that support long-term health.
