Race Registration is paid via Stack Teamapp, Cash or Bank Transfer.
Drone Racing Australia members/MAAA are $20 (Mandatory after 3 events)
Non-members $35
Spectators are FREE!
Place your orders the afternoon before to Rising Sun FPV (1700 cut off) they will bring the parts to the race day for pick up.
Ensure you bring sunscreen, a hat, water and some shade.

Super-X Craft Specs
Frame must have minimum 19mm Tubular Arms
Minimum Prop Size of 10 inches.
Minimum of 3 motors - No Maximum Motor Limit. Any motor configuration is allowed.
Frame sizes are limited to 500mm to 800mm motor-to-motor diagonally at the aircraft's widest point.
No Maximum Battery Cell Size.
All pilots must have an prearming position switch or sequence on their radios
Leds fitted to top of arms using Super-X Spec LED Covers
Rear facing Led, consisting of a minimum 3 Leds

Points system for the 2025 season
The sum of points earned at a maximum of Three (3) out of Four (😎 rounds of a pilot’s best points races for the season will count as their overall Season Points Total.
Pilots will receive 3 qualifying rounds on the day with 1 up at a time and battle in a time trial format.
At the end of the 3 qualifying rounds on the day our top 4 for the round will move into a heat consisting of 3 rounds to finalise our placings.
At the end of the days races pilots will receive the following points distribution for their overall finish: 1st = 100 points, 2nd = 90 points, 3rd = 80 points, 4th = 70 points, 5th = 60 points, 6th = 50 points, 7th = 40 points, 8th = 30 points, 9th = 20 points, 10th+ = 10 points.
The top four (4) overall Season Points Total holders for Townsville FPVR at the end of the last officially scheduled race of the 2024 season will be our podium holders.
