IMBA Trail Care School

SORBA Chattanooga was selected as one of only four organizations nationwide to host a 20-person IMBA Trail Care School in 2026. The training will take place at Enterprise South Nature Park in partnership with Hamilton County Parks and Recreation on February 28 and March 1, 2026.

This hands-on program will equip volunteers with the skills to become Trail Care Crew Leads, helping us multiply our impact and keep up with growing trail maintenance needs across the region. We’re holding 10 spots for SORBA volunteers who are ready to take their trail stewardship to the next level. The remaining seats are saved for community partners and land managers.

If you’re interested in taking the course, click below to fill out an application. Application deadline is December 31, 2025. Applications will be reviewed in January 2026. Priority is given to SORBA Volunteers who are willing to commit to leading 2 volunteer trail work days and adopt a local trail system in the greater Chattanooga area.
