An Evening of Poetry

Ontonagon County Poet Laureate, Dr. Marlene Broemer, will lead our encouraging event. Simply listen and enjoy the poetry. If you are feeling brave, share a poem (your own work or a favorite by someone else). Beginners as well as studied poets are welcome to attend and/or participate. All styles of poems are welcome: rhyming or free verse, humorous or serious, short or long. This event is meant to be very supportive and low-pressure. An Evening of Poetry is free to attend, is open to all, and will be held in the front meeting room of the Ontonagon Township Memorial Building.
