Park at the HS. The meet ends near HS parking. Please do not park on grass or side of the highway. Tents can be set up on the soccer field beside the parking lot. Please do not block the finish line.

Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) and standard cross-country guidelines, spectators must maintain sportsmanlike conduct and stay off the course to avoid interfering with runners
. Rules are enforced by meet officials, and violations can lead to the disqualification of an athlete.
Spectator conduct rules
Respect the course and officials: Do not argue with or heckle officials. Respect their decisions, as this is a core principle of good sportsmanship.
Encourage, don't disrupt: Support all athletes with positive cheers and applause, including those from opposing teams.
Avoid negative behavior: Unacceptable conduct includes:
Yelling derogatory chants
Displaying profane or abusive signs
Using profanity or obscene language
Boasting about winning or mocking a competitor's performance
Course rules
No pacing or running alongside athletes: Do not run or bike next to a competitor to cheer them on, as this is considered illegal assistance. This includes parents, teammates, and coaches.
Stay off the race path: To ensure athlete safety and prevent interference, spectators must stay clear of the starting line, finish line, and the course path itself.
Do not provide assistance: Only race officials may provide fluids or other aid during the race. Giving food or water to a runner can result in disqualification.
Keep pets away: For the safety of the runners and other spectators, pets are generally not allowed at cross-country meets.
Use designated areas: Follow instructions from event personnel on how to enter and exit venues and where to place team tents, as specified for AHSAA state championship meets.
Finish line etiquette
Avoid the chute area: Wait to greet athletes until they have exited the finish chute or corral. Do not enter the finish area, as this can disrupt the timing and scoring process.
Allow for accurate scoring: Let runners remain in order within the chute so that meet officials can accurately tabulate individual and team results.
Awards: Top 10 Boys and Girls receive an Elite Runner Shirt
Top 3 Runners in each division receive an award
