Mark your calendars for the Delaware-Otsego Audubon Society’s 57th Annual Charter Dinner on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Banquet Room of the Sixth Ward Athletic Club located at 22 West Broadway in Oneonta, NY. We’re very excited to announce that Bella Michael’s Restaurant has agreed to cater the affair. The new menu is outlined below.
The evening will begin as usual at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour, followed by the Buffet Dinner at 6:15 p.m. and the keynote presentation at 7:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available at the front of the Athletic Club.
As in the past, a “flock” of bird-themed raffle items and door prizes will be presented. Information and tickets for the Charter Dinner Raffle (a bucket raffle) is available at
https://doas.us/2025-dinner-raffle/ and will be available at the Open House event at the DOAS Sanctuary on Franklin Mountain on October 4. Charter Raffle winners do not need to be present at the dinner.
Our keynote speaker for the evening will be Julie Brown who serves as the Director of The Hawk Migration Association. This program will be a part of our in-person Charter Dinner event at the 6th Ward Athletic Club Banquet Room, but anyone may attend on Zoom free of charge. The cost for the dinner is $42 per person. Reservations must be made by October 10, using the link below. (There is an additional $2 charge per person for online processing, although it is possible to save the $2 by mailing in your check, if you act soon) If you are interested in registration after the deadline, please contact Kathryn Davino at 607-397-3815. We usually secure a few additional spots for late registrants.
