Onawa Chamber hosts Onawa's Downtown lighting ceremony

The Onawa Fire Department will be bringing Santa to town on Thursday, December 4th at 6:00 p.m. to turn on the Christmas lights for the Holiday season. Santa will stop and talk to the kids on the South side of 9th street by Taylor & Company. Santa will be available at the Onawa Public Library after he turns on the lights to get the kids wish lists. The Friends of the Onawa Public Library will have hot chocolate, cookies, a craft, face painting and a fun photo station set up for the kids. The Chamber will be passing out post cards to Santa and a box of crayons. Be sure to put your post card in the mailbox at the Library and the Chamber will make sure it gets to the North Pole to Santa.
