Sumer is Icumen In!

Join Cantare!, Omaha's premier Renaissance Vocal Ensemble, on Sunday June 1st at 6:00 p.m. for our annual spring fundraiser, "Sumer is icumen in!" (Summer is here! - in Wessex Middle English)

Gather at the beautiful Kountze Memorial Lutheran Church to celebrate nature, renewal & love. Cantare! presents a 40-minute concert, followed by a light hearted, delectable reception of hors d'oeuvres and desserts as well as a silent auction, serenaded by Cantare!. Madrigals, motets, Sea Shanties and more!

Proceeds support our outreach programs, to bring Renaissance music to area residents in elder care & veterans' communities, and our development program for High School singers.

Suggested Donation $50 at the door or online

Advance donation $150 or more via Purplepass for 3 tickets & 3 entries in our "12th Night at the Castle" Madrigal Dinner premier ticket drawing! (12th Night event is Jan 2 & 3, 2026)
