Pet Blessing

Join us for our Annual Pet Blessing to celebrate the joy that animals bring into our lives. We will gather on Sunday, September 28th at 5 pm at the Gene Leahy Mall, near the dog park, for an outdoor service celebrating our pets, past and present.

We invite you to bring your pet to be blessed, if they are friendly and comfortable with crowds. If your pet is a little too shy for something like this, we invite you to bring a token of your pet to participate in the blessing, like a collar, leash, or toy. If there is a pet you are missing, we invite you to bring a photo for a blessing of their memory.

All are welcome to this inclusive and progressive worship service -even our friends with paws and tails! There will be live music, a brief reflection or sermon, and of course the blessing of the animals. We hope to provide dog treats or another small goodie bag item!
